GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO (October 18, 2018) – Host travel agency Andavo Travel completed its 12th annual AndavoMart event with a total of 113 attendees (an increase of 6% from 2017), held at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, CA from October 12-14, 2018.
Fifty-seven travel advisors and Andavo employees from 17 states traveled to Southern California for the opportunity to network and receive one-on-one training from 49 of the world’s leading luxury travel suppliers including Marriott International Luxury Brands, Classic Vacations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Virtuoso, Abercrombie & Kent, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Belmond, and many more.
“My favorite part of AndavoMart is getting the Andavo family together, putting faces to new names in our network, and renewing relationships with our longer-term advisors. Plus it is exciting to see firsthand how motivated and dedicated our travel advisors are to succeeding,” said Kirsten Little, Vice President of Andavo Travel.
This year’s AndavoMart included an Advisory Council meeting, a presentation by motivational speaker Neen James, vendor-hosted meals/breaks, plus a site inspection of the nearby Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, CA. Additional agenda items included educational presentations, peer networking opportunities, and an expanded vendor fair. AndavoMart 2018 attendees even had the chance to tool around Newport Bay in electric Duffy boats at sunset, followed by a hosted dinner at The Cannery Restaurant in Newport Beach.
“With each AndavoMart, we try to raise the bar and this event in Newport Beach was no exception. Seeing our travel advisors be trained by industry experts and form relationships with each other, our key travel vendors, and the core Andavo support staff inspires us to keep offering our hosted agents more ways to grow their businesses,” said Mike Cameron, CEO of Andavo Travel.
