While getting all of your friends and family to an exotic destination for your wedding might sound stressful, in many cases, destination weddings are actually easier to plan than traditional weddings — and sometimes more affordable. Typically, destination weddings involve a much smaller guest list, and couples can choose packages that help take the stress out of the planning process.
To make your destination wedding as relaxing and stress-free as possible, we’ve compiled a guide to 5 popular wedding destination resorts
I just spent a week in Normandy and experienced some of the loveliest areas in France. It’s quite inspiring to visit the World War II sites, but there is much more to do and see. While many try to see Normandy as a day trip from Paris, or an overnight trip, it’s an area that’s deserving of a more in depth visit.
It’s an easy trip from Paris. A train from Paris to Caen or Bayeux is a little over two

As a travel consultant, I’m usually in the midst of preparing for my next journey. One of my latest trips was unforgettable! I traveled to Machu Picchu, Peru, where I found the Peruvian culture to be amazingly warmhearted and authentic. Machu Picchu was definitely the highlight, as it is archaeologically and visually breathtaking.
As I was preparing for my trip to Peru, and managing my clients’ travel, it made me wonder what motivates a person to travel? Travel takes you away

For close to 35 years, Canyon Ranch Tucson has embodied the true spirit of wellness vacationing. I recently had the opportunity to experience the wellness marvels of this magnificent property. And, I must say that from the moment I was met at the Tucson airport to be escorted to the ranch, I knew that I was poised to step forward and embrace a very special wellness experience.
New to Tucson, I was in awe of the mountain ranges that encircled the area and was absolutely delighted to see the desert beauty.

As a “newbie” to Virtuoso’s Travel Week held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas from August 9-15, I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed! As agents we were quickly immersed in the culture and style that only Virtuoso can offer. After the opening session and my first introduction to Matthew Upchurch, the CEO of Virtuoso, I was very convinced of the importance of my being there!
Personally, I had 352 appointments with travel suppliers ranging from cruises to hotels,
I recently had the opportunity to experience the iconic Incan Lost City of Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is a popular tourist destination and considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Also, for the second consecutive year, Machu Picchu was voted as the #1 adventurous landmark by Travelers Choice. Located high in the Andes Mountains, it was first discovered in 1911, and has grown in popularity ever since. Because of its remote location, getting to Machu Picchu can
I just got back from sailing the Norwegian Fjords on the Emerald Princess. Our cruise left from South Hampton in England, and then we sailed to Stavanger, Skjolden, Alesund, and Bergen. Norway is a beautiful country and sailing through the fjords was an awesome experience. We visited stave churches (intact wooden churches from the Middle Ages), saw beautiful scenery, and experienced a few raindrops along the way.

To all cruising aficionados:
I am happy to report that I’m finding more and more cruise lines listening to their travelers who are sick and tired of being “nickel and dimed” once they get onboard a ship. Cruise lines are starting to offer a more truly “all inclusive” experience.
Many of the premium brand cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity and Holland America are offering daily beverage packages and when you book in certain categories or have a particular status with the
