ANDAVO CARES
Andavo Travel feels strongly that
as an organization and as individuals,
we have a responsibility to be involved
in the continued development of our
communities. To support this
belief, Andavo Travel established
a company-wide charity program, “Andavo
Cares,” that is dedicated to supporting
the communities in which Andavo Travel
conducts business. As part of Andavo
Cares, the company encourages employees
to donate time to a charity of their
choice by offering full pay for up
to one day of volunteer work.
In addition, Andavo Travel sponsors
a mentor program at a Colorado-based
elementary school where adults donate
their time once a week to help students
in a structured group setting that
is facilitated by Big Brothers & Big
Sisters of Colorado. Andavo Travel’s
president and CEO, Brenda Rivers
has been a board member of Big Brothers & Big
Sisters for 13 years.
Andavo Travel also volunteers and
provides financial support to Very
Special Arts Colorado, Special Olympics,
Colorado AIDS Project, Alternative
Homes for Youth, Community Anti-Drug
Coalition, Colorado Centers for Battered
Women and Children, Leukemia Society
of America, National Sports Center
for the Disabled, Habitat for Humanity,
D.A.R.E., the Darwin Foundation and
the Conservation Corporation in Africa. Additionally,
each year, company management, staff
and their families participate in
the annual AIDS Walk and the
Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
