Bio:
I spent the first 12 years of my career as a flight attendant and the subsequent 18 years as a travel agent. This career path has enabled me to travel extensively throughout the U.S., all 7 continents and nearly 100 countries! I have been designated by Tourism Australia as a premier Aussie Specialist since 2006, and I continue to explore and experience this continent. In addition, I have specialist designations for South and East Africa, Turkey, Italy, France, Switzerland, New Zealand, the South Pacific Islands and more. I have visited 20 countries in Africa, including tracking gorillas in both Uganda and Rwanda. I am also an adventure travel specialist with numerous trips to off-the-beaten path places like Madagascar and Oman. I believe in eco and sustainable tourism and promote animal and wildlife programs through annual donations.

As a member of the travel agent advisory boards for Saveur Magazine, Ski Magazine and more, I keep current on the latest travel hot spots. I am also the U.S. contact for Biosphere Expeditions, a nonprofit award-winning volunteer research company with volunteer opportunities in numerous parts of the world. My trade organization memberships include: ASTA (treasurer), APTA, NACTA and CLIA (cruise counselor), as well as VAST (adventure travel) through Virtuoso.

Each year I strive to learn, experience and explore the world through firsthand travel, plus travel conventions, conferences and workshops. As an agent, I offer experience, excellent customer service, and extensive personal travel/destination knowledge.
